Biography

As one of our intellectual property attorneys, Kenneth E. Liu helps businesses and nonprofits protect their intellectual property, including advising them on: trademark selection, registration, and enforcement, comprehensive branding strategies, negotiation of license agreements, litigation/dispute resolution, and management of international trademark portfolios. Mr. Liu also counsels clients on Internet, domain name, and copyright issues. As a practicing nonprofit lawyer, he helps to establish nonprofit corporations, apply for IRS 501(c)(3) tax exemption, and advises on compliance with federal and state nonprofit regulations.

Mr. Liu joined Gammon & Grange, P.C. in 2001. He counsels clients from a broad range of sectors including small businesses, small and large nonprofits, churches and other religious organizations.

Personal Note:

My wife and I live in northern Virginia and have two young adult boys. I’m an active member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church and other Orthodox Christian ministries.
