Helping Victims Of Head Trauma From Motorcycle Accidents

Motorcycle accidents can cause serious head injuries, even if the rider was wearing a helmet. If the driver was not wearing a helmet, the damage can be much more severe and may result in brain injury or death.

If you or a loved one has suffered a head injury in a motorcycle accident, it’s important to consult with an experienced attorney as soon as possible. At the law firm of Gammon & Grange, P.C., our lawyers will seek maximum compensation for the significant challenges you will face. With offices in McLean and Leesburg, we represent motorcycle accident victims throughout northern Virginia and nationally. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your case.

Virginia Motorcycle Helmet Law

In Virginia, motorcyclists and their passengers are required to wear helmets. Virginia also requires motorcycle operators to wear a face shield, safety glasses, or goggles if the motorcycle is not equipped with a windshield.

If you were not wearing a helmet, you can still seek compensation if the accident was the fault of the other driver. However, it may be more difficult to show that you do not share comparative fault for your injury by not wearing a helmet. Your compensation may be reduced by any percentage of fault that is assigned to you.

Our attorneys are prepared to advocate for you by undertaking the rigorous investigation necessary to build the strongest possible case for negotiation or litigation. In more than three decades of practice, this approach has resulted in significant success for our clients.
